A recent report from the UK’s MailOnline, reports that new research indicates that red wine, although high in calories, may be metabolized differently than other drinks. You, see, it’s believed that the alcohol is metabolized in such a way that the red wine doesn’t seem to be as fattening as other drinks.
Although we don’t recommend that you start drinking if you don’t already, if you do drink red win in moderation, you don’t have anything to feel guilty about.
The article also discusses some other findings, and some good information on the benefits of resveratrol. It’s worth noting that all of the supplements you’ll find on our website have much more resveratrol than red wine, without any of the calories or risks of drinking!

Earlier this year, 60 Minutes on CBS ran one of the most popular news stories this year about Rezveratrol. In fact, it was almost 20 years ago when 60 Minutes first had a story about the “French Paradox”. What is the French Paradox? I’m glad you asked!
For years, it has been noticed that the French, who have a diet almost as bad as those of us living in the West, seem to avoid heart disease. Their diet is high in fats, including olive oils, and high in calories, including generous servings of red wine.
Eventually, many scientists began to link the French Paradox with consumption of wine, and began wondering what it was in the wine that resulted in these benefits. The answer is Resveratrol!
Dr. Christoph Westphal was quoted in the article by telling CBS’s Morley Safer:
“If the promise holds true, I think this has the chance to change healthcare”.
With claims like that, it’s no wonder that Reservatrol is one of the most sought-after new supplements of the decade. As the baby boomers continue to fight aging every step of the way, it’s no wonder that dozens of companies are popping up to provide Resveratol Supplements to the masses.
We want to make it clear – as one of the leading Reservatrol Information sites on the internet, Reservatrol.Com won’t do business with companies that are receiving a large number of complaints. We’re also working to add a section to our site with complete review information and purchasing options for a broad range of different Reservatrol Products from many different vendors. This will allow consumers – young and old – to find the best Resveritol Supplement offer for them and their budget.
If there is enough demand, we’re also investigating having some independent testing completed for some of the products we link to. This would enable us to provide the best unbiased reviews and information of this ground-breaking product. For now, our advice is simple – always read the terms of any free trial agreement completely, and we are currently not recommending Resveratrol Ultra as one of our featured products.

Almost a day doesn’t go by that Resveratrol gets a mention on Oprah (with Dr. Oz) or on Good Morning America, or even the NBC Nightly News. Here’s a clip from an undated segment.

The-LA Times had a great article about Resveratol this week. It discussed the promise, the potential, and the hype that always surrounds a new nutritional supplement. I’m sure you’ve seen more and more advertisements touting the benefits of this intriguing supplement.
And why not? People are more concerned about their health and wellness than they’ve every been. People are living longer, but are they living BETTER? Living to 100 is one thing, but Americans want to remain active and healthy throughout their lifetime. Who wants to spend 10% of their life sitting in a wheelchair watching television in a state-funded nursing home?
Resveritol stands at the intersection of promise and science. It’s no wonder sales are rapidly expanding, and people are very eager to try our sample for themselves. The promise is alluring, as illustrated in the LA Times article:
Much larger doses of resveratrol increase the life span of yeast, flies, fish and roundworms, studies have shown. A feeding regimen that includes the good stuff found in red wine makes obese mice just as healthy, spry and long-lived as those who have been raised on near-starvation diets.
Is it any wonder people are willing to bet on a healthier future? The potential benefits are enormous.
You may have seen ads primarily on the internet for various products — creams that supposedly remove wrinkles; pills or beverages containing an unknown amount of something called resveratrol.
These ads are often accompanied with my photograph, implying that I endorse the product. This is totally false. I have no idea if any of these products work and I rather doubt that they do.
This occurred because several years ago I presented a television special on longevity that featured research on the possibility of living longer. One such possibility was a pill with huge amounts of a substance called resveratrol, which is found in the skin of red grapes and extracted from red wine. But you would have to drink a tub of red wine to get the so-called benefits.
The actual pill containing massive amounts of resveratrol is still years away from being marketed, and it’s not approved by the FDA. We do not know if there are any benefits.
In the meantime, I want to make it clear that I do not endorse any product.
